Liberty Mountain Resort is a popular ski resort located in Carroll Valley, Pennsylvania, only an hour from Washington, DC and Baltimore. The resort offers almost two dozen trails suitable for all levels of skiers and boarders, 4 terrain parks, and 14 snow tubing lanes and a beginner area with two moving carpet lifts for learning to ski and snowboard. There are also four Terrain Parks designed for different skill levels.
The resort has invested heavily in automated snowmaking and offers slopeside lodging and ski and stay packages. The resort is family-friendly, with special programs for children and a Children's Play Care center for toddlers. McKee's Tavern offers sit-down dining and live entertainment.
Like most resorts in the area, the mountain is lit for night skiing, and is covered by 100% snowmaking.

Liberty Mountain Elevation
Liberty Mountain has a summit elevation of 1,190 feet, or 363 meters. However, not all of that elevation is able to be skied. The base of the ski slope sits at 570 feet above sea level, creating a ski hill that is 620 feet (189 meters) high.
